Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport via your scheduled flight. Meet your representative for a transfer to your hotel and enjoy a warm welcome beverage. Spend the day resting for vital high-altitude acclimatization. In the late afternoon, proceed for a scenic sunset visit to Shanti Stupa followed by an exterior view of historic Leh Palace. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Following breakfast, set out on an excursion along the Indus River valley. Visit the Hall of Fame Kargil War memorial, the historic Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, the gravity-defying Magnetic Hill, and Sangam—the breathtaking confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Return to Leh by evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley traversing the legendary Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the world's highest motorable passes. Descend into the valley, stop at historic Diskit Monastery with its towering Maitreya Buddha statue, and check into your camp/hotel in Hunder. In the afternoon, explore the silver sand dunes of Hunder with an optional double-humped Bactrian camel ride. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Enjoy breakfast before heading out on a scenic journey along the Shyok River to Turtuk Village, the northernmost village of India near the LOC. Explore traditional stone-and-wood Balti architecture, walk through blooming apricot orchards, and interact with the welcoming local Balti community. Return to Hunder by late afternoon. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Breakfast at the camp followed by check-out. Embark on a dramatic drive along the rugged Shyok River gorge route directly to world-famous Pangong Lake. Arrive and marvel at the color-shifting turquoise waters set against soaring mountains. Visit iconic viewpoints and enjoy an evening stroll along the lake shore. Overnight stay at the camp near Pangong Lake.
Witness a serene morning sunrise over Pangong Lake followed by breakfast. Drive back to Leh crossing the high Chang La Pass (17,590 ft). En route, visit the majestic multi-tiered Thiksey Monastery and historic Shey Palace. Check into your hotel in Leh and spend the evening shopping at Leh Main Bazaar. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and complete check-out formalities. Meet your private driver for a transfer to Leh Airport to board your scheduled return flight home.
